Scott an Enterprising Entrepreneur

Scott Gostyla has created and developed a number of Internet companies. This first invention, was an emergency flotation device that people used while jet skiing.
Mr. Gostyla’s first company was created back in 1996. Four years later, the company changed its name and grew to become one of the largest Internet service providers in the area. Before Scott left the Hydrogen Media in October of 2000, it had grown to over 14 million in total sales, and had over 200 employees working in seven offices around the nation. Scott Gostyla’s company had assisted clients like Time Warner, PeopleSoft, Motorola, and hundreds of others.
In the Tampa Bay Journal, the company recognized Scott Gostyla’s achievements and listed him among Tampa Bay’s 40 under 40 award. He also won honors such as the world’s best website award, first Place platinum PR award, the smart 100 companies award, Florida trends — Silver Mouse award, as well as a number of others. Scott Gostyla was a founding member of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, which supports technological economic development in the Tampa Bay area through its members.
As most recognized accomplishment was nomination and finalist award for the Ernst & Young entrepreneur of the year award in 1999 and 2000. In 2000 he won the top honor of Ernst & Young entrepreneur of the year 2000 in the category of electronic services. After Scott left, hydrogen media in 2000, he co-authored the e-business success kit, still available for sale. The kit explains how to define and develop Internet-based solutions to market problems.
Scott Gostyla use the same skills to turn around a debt laden medical company and build a GHI medical into a powerhouse company in the preventative health care field. Under Scott Gostyla’s assistance the company has been growing steadily, creating new products and gaining new revenues quarterly.
